Senator Obama has been very up front during the campaign about his Christian faith. Only God can judge his heart if indeed he has accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, but based on his public statements about his faith as well as his actions, it is critical to explore what he believes and see if this man really is a Christian as he claims. What does Senator Obama believe regarding the basic tenets of the Christian faith? What does he believe about salvation?

Senator Obama is part of this new and emerging group of Christians I have called the "religious left." The "religious left" is made up of people who identify themselves as Christians and hold strong religious beliefs as well as sharing left-wing ideals. Obviously, this group has risen up in opposition to those who have been tagged the "religious right" or the "Christian right." Those in the "religious left" oppose God on issues like abortion and gay marriage, but are heavily involved in the ecumenical movement, environmental issues, opposing war for any reason, world hunger, and social issues like healthcare, welfare, and education. Sound familiar?

I am sending a formal invitation to Senator Obama to sit down with me on camera and deal with these serious questions regarding what he believes about his Christian faith. He has been eager to talk about his faith to the media and has appeared in many televised programs specifically about what he believes. Sadly, those who have interviewed him and moderated these special programs on faith, have either not had the understanding or desire to ask Senator Obama the critical questions to determine what this man really believes regarding the foundational beliefs of Christianity.

A Christian, according to the Bible, is a person who has made the conscious choice to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior by faith and follow Him. You CANNOT be a true follower of Jesus Christ and deny the Truth of the Bible. It is inconsistent to say, " I am a Christian," yet live in rebellion to the Bible. It is apparent as you listen to Senator Obama speak about his faith, that he does NOT hold the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant Word of God, representing Absolute Truth and our final authority in all matters. Jesus said, "If you love me you will obey me," and that means His Word!

So what are Senator Obama's beliefs about the most important issue of all, how to be saved? He claims his mother rejected Christ, yet he knows she is in Heaven. He stated in a recent interview, "I believe that there are many paths to the same place." This is the damnable universalistic lie leading millions of souls to hell that there are many roads leading to God. He also said that "he doesn't know if he is going to Heaven, nor does he believe he or anyone will go to Hell." How can you claim to be a Christian, yet not believe in Heaven and Hell?

JESUS SAID," I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COME TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME." JESUS TAUGHT THAT THERE WAS ONLY ONE WAY TO BE SAVED, AND THAT IS THROUGH FAITH IN HIM, AND THAT THOSE WHO "BELIEVED IN HIM" WOULD BE FOREVER WITH HIM IN HEAVEN, AND THOSE WHO REJECTED HIM WOULD BE CAST INTO HELL FOR ALL ETERNITY. HOW CAN YOU CLAIM TO BE A CHRISTIAN YET DENY GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION THAT SUPPOSEDLY SAVED YOUR SOUL???

The fact Senator Obama denies Jesus is the only way to be saved, that there is no Heaven or Hell, that the Bible is not the only Truth, calls into question whether he believes Jesus was immaculately conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin as the Bible claims, or that Jesus literally rose from the dead as we are told in Scripture. Faith in Christ is not a political game, but a life changing experience that determines where your soul will spend eternity. It is time for Senator Obama to be held accountable for what he says he believes to examine if he really is a Christian!

Also calling his faith into question is his position on three key spiritual issues that transcend into the political arena. ON ALL THREE SENATOR OBAMA IS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF GOD! First is his position on abortion. His entire political career he has not just voted to uphold the slaughter of innocent babies, but he has been a defender of those rights. He has been such a staunch defender of this practice of legalized infanticide that he was endorsed by NARAL, one of the world's leading baby killing organizations. GOD CALLS ABORTION MURDER AND NO CHRISTIAN IN CONSCIENCE CAN DEFEND OR SUPPORT MURDERING INNOCENT BABIES!

Second, is his position on the sin of homosexuality. Again, his entire political career Senator Obama has been a staunch ally and supporter of the homosexual community. He is in favor of redefining God's Holy Institution of Marriage to include men marrying men and women marrying women, he is in favor of redefining God's plan for the family to include adoption by same sex couples, and he is in favor of special rights for people who choose to engage in deviant sexual relationships. GOD CALLS HOMOSEXUALITY AN ABOMINATION AND THE BIBLE DEFINES THIS ACT AS A SIN FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT.

Third, is his position on Israel. Senator Obama is in favor of giving away part of the land that God Himself gave to the children of Israel to their enemies, whose stated goal and desire is to kill every Jew and wipe them off the face of the earth. God's promise to Abraham found in Genesis 12:3 is still in effect. It reads, " I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." NO MAN HAS THE RIGHT TO GIVE AWAY THE LAND GOD HIMSELF GAVE TO ISRAEL!

"Tim Rutten's column, "Obama's Lincoln moment" and The Times editorial, "Obama on race" both miss the mark.

In my considered judgment as a race and civil rights specialist, I would say that Barack Obama's "momentous" speech on race settled on merely "explaining" so-called racial differences between blacks and whites -- and in so doing amplified deep-seated racial tensions and divisions. Instead of giving us a polarizing treatise on the "black experience," Obama should have reiterated the theme that has brought so many to his campaign: That race ain't what it used to be in America.

He should have presented us a pathway out of our racial boxes and a road map for new thinking about race. He should have depicted his minister, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., as a symbol of the dysfunctional angry men who are stuck in the past and who must yield to a new generation of color-blind, hopeful Americans and to a new global economy in which we will look on our neighbors' skin color no differently than how we look on their eye color.

In fact, I'd say that considering the nation's undivided attention to this all-important speech, which gave him an unrivaled opportunity to lift us out of racial and racist thinking, Obama blew it.

I waited in vain for our hybrid presidential candidate to speak the simple truth that there is no such thing as "race," that we all belong to the same race -- the human race. I waited for him to mesmerize us with a singular and focused appeal to hold all candidates to the same standards no matter their race or their sex or their age. But instead Obama gave us a full measure of racial rhetoric about how some of us with an "untrained ear" -- meaning whites and Asians and Latinos -- don't understand and can't relate to the so-called black experience.

Well, I am black, and I can't relate to a "black experience" that shields and explains old-style black ministers who rant and rave about supposed racial differences and about how America ought to be damned. I long ago broke away from all associations and churches that preached the gospel of hate and ethnic divisiveness -- including canceling my membership in 100 Black Men of America Inc., when they refused my motion to admit women and whites. They still don't. I was not going to stay in any group that assigned status or privileges of membership based solely on race or gender.

We and our leaders -- especially our candidates for the highest office in the land -- must repudiate all forms of racial idiocy and sexism, and be judged by whether we still belong to exclusionary or hateful groups. I don't know any church that respects, much less reflects, my personal beliefs in the absolute equality of all people, so I choose not to belong to any of them. And I would never -- as have some presidential candidates -- accept the endorsement of preachers of the gospel according to the most racist and sexist of doctrines.

But someone's race or religion is not mine or anybody else's concern. I couldn't care less that Wright is a Christian or that Louis Farrakhan professes to be a Muslim. I couldn't care less whether the hateful minister who endorsed John McCain is, deep inside, a decent man or a fundamentalist. But I do care about these pastors' divisive and crazed words; I do care that their "sermons" exploit and pander to the worst fears and passions of people based on perceptions and misperceptions about race. I hate that these preachers' sermons prejudge people's motives or behavior based on their race or ethnicity. I hate the haters, and I expected Obama to make a straightforward speech about what has become the Hate Hour -- and the most segregated hour -- in America on Sunday mornings.

I expected Obama, who up to now had been steering a perfect course away from the racial boxes of the past, to challenge racial labels and so-called black experiences. We're all mixed up, and if we haven't yet been by the process of miscegenation, trans-racial adoptions and interracial marriage, we sure ought to get used to how things will be in short order.

That would have been the forward-looking message of a visionary candidate. But Obama erred by looking backward -- as far back as slavery. What does slavery have to do with the price of milk at the grocery store? He referenced continuing segregation, especially segregated public schools, but stopped short. What is he going to do about them? How does he feel about public schools for black boys or single-sex public schools and classes? What does the gospel according to Wright say about such race-based and gender-specific schemes for getting around our civil rights laws?

We can't be united as a nation if we continue to think racially and give credence to racial experiences and differences based on ethnicity, past victim status and stereotypical categories. All of these prejudices surrounding tribe-against-tribe are old-hat and dysfunctional -- especially the rants of ministers, of whatever skin color or religion, who appeal to our base prejudices and to superstitions about our supposed racial differences. The man or woman who talks plainly about our commonality as a race of human beings, about our future as one nation indivisible, rather than about our discredited and disunited past, is, I predict, likely to finish ahead of the pack and do us a great public service.

Just how many people is Obama going to sacrifice playing his very stupid and immature politics? When Obama offers to unconditionally meet and offer direct diplomacy and dignify America's and Israel's enemies, he is betraying all of their victims and showing extreme weakness to those Islamic Nazis and other criminals.

Groveling and appeasement has never worked, but why would Obama care to read history when he wants to repeat it? The very Arabs who were aligned with Hitler in WWII and participated in the Holocaust then, cowardly denied both the Holocaust and their role in it, but now want to finish the job. They have an ally in Obama who is the worst person for Israel and America's security AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

PLO's Arafat claimed the Mufti of Jerusalem with his 20,000 "SS" and committed to the mass murder of all Jews in Palestine, was his uncle and those Arabs in all their named forms have never stopped killing Jews ever since. From Hitler to Hamas, the Holocaust Continues.

That Iran denies the Holocaust, but wants to nuke Israel. This doesn't concern Obama, who keeps changing the subject and saying that Iran's strength is because of Bush's Iraq policy.
Yet, Obama wants to legitimize Iran and his own 'social work' foolishness, when not only Israel is a target, but also America.

Our enemies don't talk. They KILL! They want all Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and "Infidels" dead... Obama's 'doubletalk' will not change that...nor Obama's support from Rev. Wright, Farrakhan, Jimmy Carter, Robert Malley (just released from Obama's campaign for meeting with Hamas) and a host of other supporters of Hamas, etc.

It's either them or us. Obama represents such an immense danger to America's and Israel's survival with his outrageous and reckless naivety, that it will only invite more attacks upon us. In these days of weapons of mass destruction and those who are willing to use them, no matter the cost, Obama's 'peace at any price' mentality, is just that kind of impotence, our enemies will take advantage of.

Pakistan's Bhutto, before her assassination, said that dealing and giving in to the terrorists was a disaster. You give an inch, they take an arm and a leg. But don't tell Obama, whose arrogance and elitism is revealing and why he is surrounded by those who want to negotiate with Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia...all committed to Israel's destruction, and who likewise support Obama for the White House. Perhaps Obama will invite Osama in for 'talks' too.

Here is the latest example of how those in Gaza and the West Bank, who have Hitler as their hero, feel about making peace with Israel, while those like Obama keep insisting that Israel 'talk' and give up everything and get nothing but more war in return. It is this exact experience that is endangering America as well. Remember "9/11"? We will make sure that the Jewish community and Christians and other communities fully understand the threats that Obama's politics presents to Israel, America and the West.

If the Democrats are so dumb as to select Obama as their candidate, they are guaranteeing McCain's election. Florida will be a pivotal state in this election. Jewish, Christian Zionists and others will bring the majority to understand the great dangers that Obama represents and is pushing the U.S. into.
